Analysis of the brain mural cell transcriptome.

I) In order to have a global picture of current brain mural transcriptome, we summarized the result from four published studies (1-4), and also integrated the result from our recently RNAseq data using FACS sorted brain mural cells (5). The detailed gene lists are listed in the linked page on the 'Genes' column. The gene lists are alphabetically sorted by their gene symbols.

II) After filtering out the endothelial genes (details refer to our manuscript), we compared the result from the above five approaches. The comparision is visulized in the Venn Diagram below.In total, there are 260 genes which were identified by at least two method. They are catalogued here [Link].
